- Accumulator
- A single bet that links two or more individual selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Arbitrage (Surebet)
- A situation where you back all possible outcomes at odds that guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to eliminate the draw option, making both outcomes roughly equal.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine different markets from the same match into one custom bet.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet for a certain amount before the event finishes.
- Correct Score
- A bet on the exact final score of a match.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single decimal number that includes your stake; the total return equals the decimal multiplied by the stake.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (home win/draw, away win/draw, or win for either side) in one wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A market where you back a team to win, and your stake is refunded if the match ends in a draw.
- Dutching
- Spreading your stake across multiple outcomes so that you earn the same profit no matter which one wins.
- Expected Value (EV)
- The average amount you can expect to win or lose per bet if the same odds were repeated many times.
- First Goalscorer
- A wager on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds displayed as a fraction, showing the profit you make relative to your stake.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A market where you predict the result at half-time and the result at full-time as a single bet.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match after it has already started, with odds that update as the game progresses.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula that calculates the optimal proportion of your bankroll to bet based on your perceived edge.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds offered on a specific event, giving you a higher potential payout.
- Odds Comparison
- Checking the odds from different bookmakers to find the best price for a particular outcome.
- Over/Under (Total Goals)
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be more or less than a set figure.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a single bet.
- Staking Plan
- A structured method for deciding how much money to wager on each bet to manage risk.
- Tipster
- A person or service that provides betting predictions and recommendations.
- Value Bet
